Being in business for two decades means in depth experience about what works and, more importantly, what doesn’t.

CGA was first set up in 1985 and has been helping clients fast track their brands and businesses ever since. CGA has experience of working across a wide variety of business sectors including travel and leisure, food and drink, financial services, IT, the SME sector and charities.

The combination of strong marketing skills with strong creative skills in the agency is what makes CGA a high performance partner. Sound planning and strategic marketing understanding mean that the briefing into the creative team is clear and in turn they can deliver concepts and executions which achieve business objectives.

The skills in the business lie with the people:

Jez Clement
Creative Director with strong creative experience in travel, music, B2B, FMCG and public communications. Jez came to CGA from London based design consultancy Form and has freelanced for various London agencies including Design Bridge. Jez has a passion for everything creative and is a ‘tour de force’ in the CGA team.

Charles Grimsey
Managing Director and Creative Head. Charles has considerable experience across many business sectors including health and beauty, food, pharmaceutical, fine art and finance for various leading agencies. He set up CGA in 1986. Finding an affinity with the travel sector, he developed the profile of the then little known Crystal Holidays helping the company to the No.1 position in the UK ski market.

Elaine Roberts
Planning Director. Previous experience includes Managing Director of Sharwood’s and Le Pain Croustillant, Marketing Consultant to clients such as McCain Foods and New Covent Garden Foods, Marketing Director of RHM Grocery Brands. Elaine also sat on the Government Advisory Committee on Marketing Communications between 1995 and 2000.
