Brief turns an idea into the storyboard every film starts with. The one your team aligns on, a client signs off on, an editor builds from. Then style, motion, and sound, in the order films get made.

Working with AI requires more discipline, not less. Without early commitment on each shot, you regenerate, you tweak, you start over. Weeks burn on projects that should have shipped. Real productions don't work that way. They lock composition first, color second, motion third. A century of cinema built on that discipline.
Brief is the first AI tool built on the same restraint. You start in black and white, because that's where composition lives. Once your shots are locked, color comes next. Then motion. Then sound. Same order professionals have always worked in.
And the models doing the work behind every Brief? Always the best ones available. The leader changes every few weeks. We track the frontier so you don't have to. You just bring the idea.
Nine shots from a single scene. Brief plans the composition, the rhythm, and the camera moves as one coherent piece. What your team aligns on isn't a folder of options. It's a sequenced scene.
Brief ships the first four stages today. Color, motion, and sound come next. The order matters: you lock composition before you commit to a look, the look before you commit to movement, the movement before you commit to sound. The same way real films get made.
Tell Brief what you're making. A few sentences, or upload a script. Brief writes back a clear creative vision in your voice.
Brief locks in a visual style for your project: the colors, the kind of light, the feel of the camera. Every shot inherits it.
Brief breaks your scene into sixteen to twenty-two shots, each with its own subject, camera angle, lens, and mood worked out.
Brief renders each shot as a moody black-and-white image so you can see your film before you commit to color or motion.
The storyboards you make today become stylized video clips tomorrow. Same compositions, sequenced for the scene's rhythm, in the look of your choosing. Photoreal, anime, 35mm, watercolor, whatever you want. The black-and-white frame you lock now is the moving image you watch later, in your direction.
Open beta. Free while we build it out together. Every stage on the road ships at no charge while Brief grows into the full concept-to-finished-scene system.
A printable PDF you can pin to a wall, screenshot into a deck, or send to a collaborator. A locked direction the team commits to, instead of another gallery of variations to argue about.
Make as many storyboards as you want. Color, motion, sound, and finished clips when they ship, all at no charge. No credit card. No trial expiring.

I built Brief because I wanted to make films with AI without giving up everything good about how films actually get made. Two decades in television and film. Two years deep in generative AI. The tools out there give you endless options and no way to commit. Brief is the opposite. It helps you decide.
The first film I'm making with Brief is PRIMITIVE, my submission for the XPRIZE Future Vision competition. The film is about people who build their own tools instead of renting big ones. Brief is one of those tools. I'm using it to make a film about the idea behind it.
Brief is in open beta. Free for everyone right now. You get full projects with unlimited shot renders and regenerations, and everything we build next at no extra cost while we build it out together.
