I have questions.
What is AI changing about being human, and what are we supposed to do about it?
What happens to memory when we can reconstruct it? To creativity when generation is abundant? To expertise when anyone can access capability? What happens to photography when a generated image can compete with a photograph, to knowledge when millions of datasets become conversational, to work when the computer can type, calculate, research, organize, and build? And what happens to judgment when the AI can give us infinite options?
I'm producing an exhibit that explores these ideas and I'm looking for a few strategic partners to help me make it happen.
Boston AI Week runs Sept 24 to Oct 2, 2026. These are the festival’s own 2025 numbers, and its stated goal for 2026 is to double them.
GENERATION is a public AI education initiative designed to help people engage with artificial intelligence through experimentation, creative practice, and firsthand experience.
The exhibition invites visitors to think more critically and personally about how AI is changing the way we create, work, learn, remember, and make decisions. My hope is that it can spark the kinds of learning journeys that shaped these projects and give people a clearer sense of their own place in a transition none of us has experienced before.
GENERATION is being developed as a repeatable, portable exhibition that can move throughout the year. The first year will serve as an East Coast pilot, with the goal of bringing the work to universities, companies, cultural and commercial spaces, malls, and vacant storefronts across Greater Boston, New Hampshire, Maine, and beyond.
Each project in the exhibition began with a question. I hope visitors leave thinking about one of their own.
The relative no one photographed. The dataset no one has thought to connect. The story that mattered, but no images of it exist.

The exhibit installs in any storefront with real glass and about 2,000 square feet. A vacant unit spends a week as the busiest window on the block, and the neighborhood gets a cultural destination without building anything.
I need help to make this happen. Here’s how I will overdeliver for my partners.
I’m making a cinematic campaign to promote the exhibit. You are named in it. I put paid media behind it across Boston.
I record conversations in the exhibit all week and cut the best of it into social content. You are named in every episode.
Your name is on the site, on every printed piece, and on the patrons wall inside the exhibit.
I post every day the exhibit is open. I name you in all of it.
You’re on the list. Opening night, partner night, and every mixer for the rest of the year. Bring your clients to the coolest events I can throw. I’ll be inviting everyone I know.
You are one of three, and I will never offer a founding seat again.
$3,500 PER SEAT · THREE SEATS, ALL OPEN
Founding Partner support is for exhibition production, installation, and the advertising campaign that brings people through the door. Founding Partner recognition travels with the GENERATION exhibit for the entire first year. After that the sponsorship ends and the credit is permanent: Founding Partner, GENERATION, 2026. The work stays independent. No approvals, no branded installations, no products in the art.
I will be there all week, working in public. Walk in and ask me how all of it was made and I will show you. We will record podcasts live in the exhibit, and run talks and mixers through the week.
“Erich delivered a mind-expanding and inspiring session to my students in my Harvard graduate course, Creativity and Innovation. I have developed great respect for Erich and his work and consider him to be an anchor of the Boston AI community. It’s been a privilege to get to know him and learn from him.”
